Today I (Christy) I decided to get even in bright winter sunshine, the mountain bike from the basement and shoot with Daniel's cousin Julia a relaxing round of mountain biking. To use the maximum solar heat we left by 14 clock. It went to the Brunsberg through varied terrains: ice floor, mud-watering, dry sandy soil, cuddly forest floor, thick puddles, asphalt and gravel roads. Since we had mostly spontaneously decide whether we can drive the way or not, because of too much ice, we're pretty criss-cross gecriused through the nature reserve. At the height of the three men pine, we went back to Holm Seppensen and on the web along home. It just joking, and then we saw this: vollgematscht!

Day 2 in training camp - Cura Randa

Today we left at 11:10 clock from the hotel because we still had to wait for Sven - thanks to Dieter, we have the time "lost" but quickly caught up again :-). Alcudia
it was at moderate wind and a bright blue sky then to Cala Ratjada - on the diamond plate to Petra and Sant Joan Montuiri. The early morning view from the window showed a clear not that I wanted to see what was or predicted: gray clouds, fog and drizzle. The whole thing with a choice of 1 degree Celsius ...

Nevertheless, I swung myself to be in time to be 10 clock at the meeting point on road bike's. There appeared then to Alex, Thorsten, Uwe and Mike, who had apparently nothing better to do this morning.

The uncomfortable drizzle we set off on Wesel and Undeloh after Egestorf and from there across Garlstorf and Toppenstedt Tangendorf. In Egestorf let the drizzle at last and gave us felt to offset hurricane-force headwind.

In Tangendorf so we threw all our Euros on the table by the guest house "Vossbur" and made Once a coffee break (Thor and I had again no cash there - Thanks again for's "enduring").

As we drove off again seemed at last the sun, but unfortunately we still had really nasty headwind. Back it went today Ohlendorf, Rame and Horster mill up to the ever-popular dog cemetery (this is still against the wind!) And through the woods Klecker to Buchholz.

Conclusion: Today was a mixture of strength and unity "I defeat my inner bitch" and no, we were not a single second envious of our radelnden Mallorcans :-)))

Day 1 in training camp - Installation

last round we go again - Training Camp Mallorca in 2011 and again today

In recent weeks spoken at training more and more about the upcoming training camp. The anticipation was and is huge. Tomorrow, on Friday, it's finally time to the first machine direction Mallorca. 9 days we live in Los Principes in Alcudia.

We are this year with 10 drivers (Thomas Ho, Dieter, Svend, Stephan, Sven, Lars-Oliver, Jorn, Robert, Kay and a friend of Robert) on the road. After I (Kay) last year, training camp debut, this year, Sven, Jörn and Lars-Oliver for the first time a few days in training camp. Unfortunately, I was in the last 14 days with a persistent, febrile flu flat and had to suspend the training operation. I'll see what load will be possible for me. But under the current weather forecast, we remain this year at least of snow and freezing temperatures spared. And disruption of international traffic by an ash cloud is not to be expected.

Randa, San Salvador, Orient, Sa Calobra etc. - we come from. The summer wheels were hanging the last 5 months in the bracket, Thomas' Cervélo is thankfully back in time from the frame repair.
