Today I (Christy) I decided to get even in bright winter sunshine, the mountain bike from the basement and shoot with Daniel's cousin Julia a relaxing round of mountain biking. To use the maximum solar heat we left by 14 clock. It went to the Brunsberg through varied terrains: ice floor, mud-watering, dry sandy soil, cuddly forest floor, thick puddles, asphalt and gravel roads. Since we had mostly spontaneously decide whether we can drive the way or not, because of too much ice, we're pretty criss-cross gecriused through the nature reserve. At the height of the three men pine, we went back to Holm Seppensen and on the web along home. It just joking, and then we saw this: vollgematscht!

Day 2 in training camp - Cura Randa

Today we left at 11:10 clock from the hotel because we still had to wait for Sven - thanks to Dieter, we have the time "lost" but quickly caught up again :-). Alcudia

Unfortunately, I was in the last 14 days with a persistent, febrile flu flat and had to suspend the training operation. I'll see what load will be possible for me. But under the current weather forecast, we remain this year at least of snow and freezing temperatures spared. And disruption of international traffic by an ash cloud is not to be expected.

Conclusion: Today, with plenty of sunshine and a few plus degrees, it finally has once again made fun!

25th Maratona dles Dolomites


This year starts the 25th Maratona dles Dolomiti .

In the past, from the only team Stephen and Kathy motivated for a start. But to this small anniversary of the 25th Discharge have also Thomas Horn and Dieter decided to start. Kathy had to unfortunately make their starting place again but our 3 starter motivated go about the task.

Kay's fear of yesterday has this morning made out to be true: winter is actually returned overnight to the North back. A high layer of wet, heavy snow covered the landscape. The streets were at times extremely smooth.
On meeting a diverse group: Armin, JJ and Thomas, cross bike, Kay, Sven, Thorsten, Erhard, Rudi and I with MTB and Stephan foot.

Armin, JJ and Erhard drove off at high speed in order to bring in David Dierk Hausen. The rest of us a little more slowly afterwards. It was towards Asendorf and Jesteburg. Thomas had to quickly find that the Crosser is today was not the first choice and went home again. Rudi has joined him. The rest of us drove through the countryside towards Undeloh. The way we met the blue-white Jezter, with David again. Erhard seemed quite grateful to be able to join our little slower group. But it was a Pleasure to watch as Armin and David went on the cross bike straight your path through the deep snow, while the others were fighting with the snow skidding. My respect, that's a damn high level.

Large group training on Saturday afternoon

It has once again shown that we also get together on Saturday afternoon, a large training group. Since I was unable to attend on Saturday morning I asked the team if anyone would ride in the afternoon. A quiet but at least 3 hour trip was planned. So we drove all (Daniel, Dirk, Ralf, Alex, Nadine, Mike, Thorsten and me) with plenty of momentum after Fintel, for then dragged back to the unpleasant headwind to Buchholz.

It was a very nice
even exit in nice clean air. On Sunday is supposed to come back to the winter and we enjoyed the tour with the road wheels. Tomorrow we will probably again have saddled the MTBs.

The light was absolutely sufficient. Since you can soon again include the 14.00 pm Saturday at their training venue. Now there are only 2 1 / 2 weeks to Malle!
